The term “mlm pyramid schemes” has hovered around the network marketing industry ever since its inception. Well it’s time to put this silly term to rest. It’s been blown so out of control for years and people that spout out at the mouth thinking they know what they’re talking about are completely wrong. MLM is not a pyramid!
The people at the top of the so called “pyramid” make all the money because they simply worked harder and smarter than the people at the bottom. That’s it. They didn’t get some golden ticket to be at the top of the pyramid. They didn’t make the top because of genetics. They weren’t left a top spot in the “pyramid” because a distant relative reserved them a spot in their will. There isn’t a government conspiracy that planted them at the top either.
The point to all of this madness is to shed light on this crazy term called “mlm pyramid schemes.”
People that think mlm is a pyramid are either just lazy and want a hand out, narrow-minded, want something to complain about, or are just plain quitters. It takes hard work, persistence, passion, and a never give up attitude to become successful in the multi-level marketing industry. It takes guts and an undying will to finish the race. Most people quit the industry because it’s extremely hard.
The reason that the people at the top make all of the money isn’t because they are more special than you. It isn’t because they are better looking and well spoken either. In fact, if you’ve seen a lot of the millionaires in the mlm industry you’d think quite the opposite. Some of these leaders make you scratch your head and think to yourself; how did that person become a millionaire? They are a complete bonehead. The simple fact of the matter is that they busted their butt to get to the top. It’s that simple.
Now, you may be ready to throw the lynch mob at me right now because there have been many businesses that have turned out to be mlm pyramid schemes and you want to call me a liar. The truth is that you’re right. There have been a lot of businesses that did turn out to be mlm pyramid schemes but it doesn’t mean that the whole industry is one big pyramid. You see, a lot of people truly feel that the mlm industry is one complete pyramid scheme.
Have you ever talked to someone that had the opinion that companies like Amway, Herbalife, Melaleuca, and Prepaid Legal were mlm pyramid schemes? They are so stupid. You could literally point out all of the facts to them proving them wrong but they’re too pig headed to change their opinion. Do people really think that companies that produce billions of dollars each year, which are under the massive government microscope, could really be pyramid schemes? Come on. That’s a complete joke. People that think this way are enough to drive you crazy.
Here’s the deal folks. If you’re in the mlm industry or thinking about joining it then it’s time to face the facts. You are going to have to face a lot of criticism if you’re ever going to become successful. You’re going to have to bust your ASS! You are going to get beaten down. You are going to have to sacrifice and give up everything to make it.
If you aren’t willing to go through all of this then do everyone in the industry a favor and quit, and most importantly keep your mouth shut. Don’t go yelling “MLM Pyramid Schemes!”

Don’t blame the leaders at the “Top”
Don’t blame the government
Don’t blame the economy
Don’t blame it on the fact that you aren’t well spoken
Don’t blame your parents for bad genetics
Don’t blame it on aliens from another planet
For God sakes just take responsibility for yourself and take ownership for your own actions if you feel this negatively about the industry. The mlm industry is full of good people that have an incredible amount of integrity. Hard working people that just want a better way of life and to fulfill their dreams. People that have strong moral values and that just want to go out everyday and provide for their families. They are just looking for hope and a better way of life.
